Italian residential continued its development in recent years, expansion is expected to continue in the following ones. 50% 50% repartition of Italians living in flats, multiple story buildings or single houses, despite urban areas reach almost 72% of population and only 28% live in rural ones.

Increasing families have a demand for additional 300 or 400.000 new homes to be built. Despite a large part of market demands multiple occupancy houses, after COVID-19 demand for single houses increased.

With strong cultural heritage, mainly in large urban areas, several buildings were made in ‘50s and ‘60s. Many of these had a significant demand for modernization and improvement on their efficiency.
